I hope you're just winding us up -- it's part of the satire. The "Burma Shave" ads (for shaving products) from the middle of the 20th century featured a limerick followed by the words BURMA SHAVE at the end. Classic Americana (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burma_Shave)
