Dog plus God leads to dog choler

Dogandbasket175 Owning a dog can increase the stress of a Catholic priest so much that it sends him over the edge, according to new research. Bangor university researchers who set out to see if owning a pet could ease the loneliness of the celibate priest were astonished to discover that the burdens of caring for a pet actually made priestly stress even worse. More than 1,400 Roman Catholic priests were surveyed to discover if  “companion animals” could serve as an antidote to the “personal and social loneliness of single celibate men.”  (Pic from pet expert Celia Haddon.) The story has been picked up around the world, including by Spiritual Seeds in Italy.
